The Woodbridge Town Library offers several volunteer opportunities for teens! Check out the events below- if you’re interested in volunteering for something, fill out the registration form and someone will contact you with more information. Have further questions? Send an email to ecantor@woodbridgetownlibrary.org
Ongoing Programs:
Teen Advisory Board: Have ideas on how the library can make an impact on the community? Join us once a month to discuss library programming and volunteer ideas (and eat snacks while doing so!) TAB attendees get first dibs on volunteer opportunities. Next meeting is TBS.
Shelf Reading: Help us keep our shelves in order! A librarian will show you how to make sure the books are in alphabetical and numerical order. Teen volunteers can do shifts of either 30 minutes or 1 hour, and are welcome to do as many shifts as they’d like per week.
One-Time Events:
Book Buddies: Wednesdays in July from 4-4:30pm. Book Buddies is a reoccurring summer event! We’re looking for teen volunteers to come in and read to kids for 30 minutes throughout the summer. If you’re interested in participating, please include your availability!
