The Woodbridge Town Library and the JCC of Greater New Haven are proud to present “One Community, One Read” this month. Both organizations are encouraging community members to read The Paris Architect by Charles Belfoure and attend a discussion with the author himself on Wednesday, September 14 @ 7pm at the JCC.

The Paris Architect tells the story of struggling architect Lucien Bernard in Paris, 1942. Desperately in need of money, Lucien reluctantly takes a job designing hiding spaces for Jews in the height of the Nazi occupation. But when one of his projects fails, Lucien is forced to deal with the complex and horrific realities that came to pass during WWII.

Copies of the title are available to borrow at the library. Readers can also purchase a copy of the book for $15 at both locations to have signed by the author on his visit. Please register here.

Online bookings are not available for this event.
