Dr. Mark Schenker of Yale University will return to the library on Sunday, June 6 at 2:45 pm to discuss his approach to literature and how anyone who reads for personal enjoyment can gain insight into what makes literature art. And in the process, how we all can get more out of reading.
A string trio featuring Amity High School students and library volunteers Alice, Anna, and Nora Youtz will perform prior to the lecture.
This event is hosted by the Friends of the Library in memory of Barbara Rader, longtime member and a past president of the Friends. It will be held outside on library grounds, and refreshments will be served.
Please register. Rain date: Sunday, June 13.
