That Way Madness Lies–Film Screening at Amity H.S.

Join us for a special movie screening co-sponsored by the Connecticut Psychological Association. One woman and her family trek the broken mental health system in an effort to save her brother as he descends into madness. Beginning as a testimony of his sanity, his iPhone video diary ultimately becomes an unfiltered look at the mind of an untreated schizophrenic. After the film, join film director Sandra Luckow, Dr. Tracey Sondik from the State of Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, and Dr. Tom Styron from the Connecticut Mental Health Center and Yale School of Medicine for a talkback about services and programs in Connecticut for people affected by mental illness.
