We know you are all very excited about coming back and we are excited to see you! ?
However, after being gone for almost 3 months, there is a lot to do just to get the library organized and cleaned up! (You should see the stacks of newspapers and magazines!!!) We want to make sure that everything is put away before we begin services, so that we know what is actually on the shelves and have options to lend to you.
Additionally, we need to make sure we have the right plan in place to limit exposure and keep EVERYONE safe and healthy—all of us and all of you. We are working with limited staff while practicing social distancing, which means we have to re-think how we do our jobs and it can lead to things taking a bit longer.
We will let you know as soon as we have more information. The good news is that we plan on starting curbside pickup very soon—details to come.
