Woodbridge Town Library Seed Exchange
The Woodbridge Library Seed Exchange is a resource for those interested in planting, growing, and cultivating their own crops. It is a collection of donated plant seed packets that members can enjoy free of charge, up to 3 packets a day. The Seed Exchange is located by the information desk.
Those interested in using the Seed Exchange must fill out a Membership Form. This form also contains your Seed Log where members will keep track of seeds taken and seeds donated.
Donations
The Woodbridge Library Seed Exchange runs on donations from various companies and individuals. We encourage all members to learn basic seed-saving techniques. We encourage that beginning seed savers grow out and return seeds from lettuce, tomato, bean or pea plants the first year.
If you are unable to save your own seed, please consider donating a packet or two of fresh, commercially grown, open-pollinated (non-hybrid, non-GMO) seed to keep our library stocked. Returned seed will allow us to keep the library well stocked.
