Chapter a Day Read-Alouds

Read a book—ask a question—start a conversation. Reading with your children encourages them to guess and speculate and think about the stories they read. And, a chapter a day gets them hooked! What will happen next? A few minutes a day is all it takes. If parents and children are too exhausted at the end of the day, maybe a chapter with dessert at dinner, or some down time in the carpool lane will work. Check out our list of children’s fiction for families to enjoy together. Ask a librarian anytime for additional suggestions!
